How it opens
Tyrion Lannister drinks his way across the narrow sea in a small ship's cabin, then is sealed in a wine cask when the ship comes to port and tipped out in the cellar of Magister Illyrio Mopatis in Pentos. Over supper Illyrio offers him a dish of mushrooms, eats them himself when Tyrion refuses, and tells him they have work to do. In Meereen, Queen Daenerys Targaryen is woken in the night to see the body of Stalwart Shield, the first of her soldiers killed by the Sons of the Harpy. She spends the day hearing petitions, and at its end a man spills a sack of burnt bones before her and says the black one came down from the sky.
