What the site is
Without Spoilers is a reading companion that filters wiki articles and timelines to the point you’ve reached in a book series, so you can look things up without being spoiled. It is a free, fan-made reference tool. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by any author, publisher, or rights holder.
Spoiler filtering is best-effort, not a guarantee
Important: our spoiler-gating is generated automatically and, while we work hard on it, it can be incomplete or wrong. We do not guarantee that any article, summary, timeline, or link is free of spoilers for your exact position in a series. You use the site understanding that a spoiler can slip through, and you accept that risk.
Accounts
- You’re responsible for keeping your login credentials secure and for activity under your account.
- Provide accurate information when signing up.
- You must be at least 13 to create an account.
- You can delete your account at any time.
Acceptable use
Please don’t:
- Scrape, bulk-download, or republish the site’s content or database except as permitted by the underlying content licenses (see Intellectual Property below).
- Attempt to break, overload, probe, or gain unauthorized access to the site or its infrastructure.
- Use the site to harass others or to violate any law.
Intellectual property
Three different things live on this site and they have different rights:
- The underlying stories, characters, and worlds belong to their respective authors and publishers. We claim no ownership of them. Their use here is for reference and commentary.
- Imported wiki article text comes from community wikis (various Fandom wikis) and is used under the Creative Commons Attribution-ShareAlike license. Attribution and license details are on our Credits & Licensing page. Because that content is share-alike, adaptations we publish from it remain under the same license.
- Our own original material (the software, design, spoiler-gating system, and timelines) is owned by us and may not be copied or reused without permission, except where we state a separate license.
Content accuracy
Article content is imported and machine-processed and may contain errors, omissions, or outdated information. The site is provided for reference and entertainment, not as an authoritative source.
Disclaimers
The site is provided “as is” and “as available,” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including fitness for a particular purpose and, as noted above, freedom from spoilers. We don’t warrant that the site will be uninterrupted or error-free.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the site, including a spoiled reading experience.
Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for anyone who violates these terms or uses the site in a way that risks harm to the service or others.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict-of-laws rules.
Changes
We may update these terms. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated version, and we’ll update the date above.
