Yukiri Haruna
Yukiri Haruna is an Aes Sedai of the Gray Ajah and a Sitter in the Hall of the Tower, known among her sisters for a stubbornness that made her the last to yield in any consensus.
Yukiri Haruna sits for the Gray Ajah in the Hall of the Tower, one of the sisters whose voices decide the White Tower's course from the heart of Tar Valon. The Tower she serves is not at ease. Sisters have broken away to gather at Salidar, rumors about the Red Ajah and false Dragons drift through the halls, and trust between sisters has worn thin enough that even Sitters weigh their words in company.
Yukiri has taken up a quieter labor as well. Together with three other Sitters, Saerin Asnobar, Talene, and Doesine, she is hunting the Black Ajah inside the Tower's own walls, a search that cannot be spoken of aloud and cannot be trusted to anyone outside their circle. It carries them away from the open corridors and down into the Tower's lower levels, where such work can be done unobserved.
It makes for a doubled life: the public one, conducted in the Hall among sisters who may or may not be what they seem, and the hidden one, pursued in the subbasements far below. Yukiri manages both, and gives no sign of the second while going about the first.
