Yellow Ajah
The Yellow Ajah is the society of Aes Sedai devoted to Healing, sisters whose calling is the mending of bodies and whose skill with Healing weaves is unmatched in the White Tower.
The Yellow Ajah takes its place among the seven Ajahs of the White Tower described across the early books of The Wheel of Time, from The Eye of the World onward. Yellows give themselves to Healing, the branch of the One Power that knits flesh and drives out sickness, and the Ajah holds the Tower's deepest store of knowledge about it. Its sisters say the shawl finds women who cannot walk past a thing that is broken, and the best Healers of any age are said to wear Yellow. The Ajah's temper matches its confidence. Yellow sisters are self-assured to the edge of arrogance, take flamboyant care with dress and appearance, and a fair number regard the other six Ajahs as useful adjuncts to the only work that truly matters. Their head bears the title First Weaver. For all the sharpness, what runs underneath is a passion for putting things right.
