Vandene Namelle
Vandene Namelle was an Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah, the younger sister of Adeleas Namelle, who had retired with her from the White Tower so long ago that few there even remembered they still lived.
Vandene Namelle shared a house in Tifan's Well with her sister Adeleas, and the establishment was a modest one: a garden, a barn, the quiet round of a small village. The two had left the White Tower behind long ago, and the life they kept in its place was settled, orderly, and their own.
Her learning had not gone quiet along with her life. Vandene could speak with authority on the Horn of Valere, on the old writings linking the Dragon to Toman Head, and on the dangers of Shadar Logoth; she knew even so old a matter as the tie between Lanfear and Lews Therin Telamon. Questions on any of these did not catch her unprepared, and her answers carried the weight of long study.
The household ran on the same shared terms as the learning. Garden, barn, and village life were divided between the two of them, and no part of it belonged to one sister alone. Adeleas was the elder of the two, and the house in Tifan's Well held them both.
