Valan Luca

Valan Luca is the owner and manager of Valan Luca's Grand Traveling Show and Magnificent Display of Marvels and Wonders, a menagerie of exotic animals he claims come from Shara. He is tall and dark-haired, good-looking, with a well-turned leg and a cloak gaudy enough to shame a Tinker, which he flourishes at every opportunity. He tends toward grandiosity and exaggeration in manner and speech, and he takes himself very seriously. Losses have left him short of funds and hunting for wealthy patrons, which makes him eager and calculating with anyone who approaches: he carries no passengers, and whoever travels with the show works and performs for the privilege.
