A Whitecloak commander leads two thousand men across most of the country in secret, careful to dodge Taraboner eyes, to a village near its northern border. The Taraboners, a Questioner says, claim that the strangers massed on Toman Head are monsters of the Dark One. Dark brows with pale honey braids, as Liandrin wears them, are not uncommon there.
