Seventh Age

Of the Wheel's seven Ages, the Seventh is the last, the one that turns before the First Age comes again. Nothing is known of what happens in it, or of the shape of its Age Lace, in the way the Third Age and the Second Age are known. One line of speculation holds that the First Age is some part of our own world's history. If that is so, the end of the Seventh Age opens onto our reality, and it may end in a cataclysm great enough to reduce humanity to hunting and gathering before agriculture and the early civilisations begin again.
