Seonid Traighan

Seonid Traighan arrives in Caemlyn as one of nine sisters sent from Salidar, an embassy charged with winning the support of Rand al'Thor, the Dragon Reborn. The delegation is led by Merana Ambrey, and its number includes Kairen Stang, Rafela Cindal, Faeldrin Harella, Demira Eriff, Berenicia Morsad, Masuri Sokawa, and Valinde Nathenos. Together they take rooms at The Crown of Roses, an inn in the New City, and from there conduct their business with the Royal Palace in the Inner City, where the man they have come to court holds power.

It is delicate work under narrow terms. Al'Thor has set restrictions on what the sisters may do and where they may go, forbidding them outright from approaching his Asha'man at the Black Tower, so the embassy must pursue its purpose within limits drawn by the very man it hopes to persuade. Seonid takes her place in that effort as one voice among nine, attending the meetings at the inn where the delegation weighs its position and decides how far it can safely press. Her share of the embassy's business is conducted the way she conducts everything else: without fuss, and without delay.
