Romanda Cassin is the eldest Sitter in the Hall of the Tower, the one who by tradition makes its pronouncements.
Romanda Cassin wears a yellow-fringed shawl worked all over with flowers and vines, apart from the Flame of Tar Valon set high between her shoulders. She is a solidly handsome woman with dark eyes and an ageless face, and her hair, gathered in a bun at her nape, is pale gray all through.
Romanda speaks in a high soprano and holds her head erect. Her smile can be warm, and her stare can be utterly without expression.
