Rhuarc is an Aiel of the Nine Valleys sept of the Taardad Aiel.
Rhuarc has a strong, square face and a good smile, and he is handsome, if a little past his youth. Surprise shows on him as no more than a flicker of the eyelids, and his laugh is a deep chuckle.
He speaks of fighting as the dance of the spears. Death, as he puts it, is an enemy the young want to test themselves against, while for those who are older it is an old friend they are in no hurry to meet again. His own hold lies beyond the Dragonwall, and his farewell is a wish that others may always find water and shade.
