Rhuarc is a tall man with cold blue eyes, one of the Aiel of the Waste. His people are fierce and hardy, deadly with weapons or bare hands alike, though they will not touch a sword; they veil their faces before they kill, and they call battle the Dance. As clan chief of the Taardad, he holds one of the highest positions an Aiel man can reach.
