Moridin was a tall, broad-shouldered man with striking blue eyes, who moved through the world with the quiet authority of someone who had already decided how everything would end.

Moridin was young for the station he held. He had been granted the honor of channeling the True Power, a mark of favor that set him apart even among the Chosen, and he carried the distinction with the open arrogance of a man who expected nothing less.

His authority had a precise shape. He was Moghedien's master, keeper of the cour'souvra she wore, the mindtrap that bound one of the Chosen to his will. Her subjugation amused him; a dark humor sat close beneath the arrogance whenever he turned his attention to her.

His comforts matched his standing. He kept to a luxurious wood-paneled room with a fire in the hearth, the ease of a man secure in his place within the Shadow's hierarchy. What he held was simple to name: the True Power's gift, and the mindtrap of one of the Chosen in his keeping.
