Masema Dagar

Masema Dagar has deep-set, almost-black eyes that hardly ever blink, and inside his helmet they look like a pair of caves. His frown never leaves his face, and he is not a man for jokes, neither making them nor laughing at them.

Masema prefers the horsebow. He has no use for a bow too long to be any good from horseback, and claims he can get off three arrows from a horsebow while a big bow looses one. Mounted, he wears plate-and-mail under a golden surcoat bearing the Black Hawk on its chest and a helmet whose bars hide his face, and he carries a lance with two feet of steel at its tip.
