Magla Daronos
Magla Daronos is an Illianer Aes Sedai and a Sitter of the Yellow Ajah, a broad-shouldered, forceful woman whose presence fills a room as readily as her voice.
Magla Daronos sits for the Yellow when the Hall convenes, one of the Sitters whose standing or staying seated settles what the gathered Aes Sedai will do. That Hall meets in Salidar, a village given over to sisters, in the building they call the Little Tower.
A Sitter's work is the slow machinery of consensus: hearing what comes before the Hall, weighing it for her Ajah, casting her voice when the count is taken, with the whole weight of the Yellow behind it. It is deliberate work, made of hearings, counts, and long argument, and it rewards a woman who cannot be waited out.
Her own Ajah has its particular province. When Healing is the question, the Yellow debate it among themselves first and hardest, and Magla stands inside that debate twice over, once as a Yellow and once as the Sitter who carries what her sisters resolve into the Hall.
