Liandrin is an Aes Sedai of the Red Ajah, a Taraboner woman of striking, doll-like features and honey-colored hair worn in braids.
Liandrin has dark brows and even darker eyes, and a small, petulant mouth. She is pretty and young, not merely young-looking. Her voice is petulant too, with a cold edge, and it carries a constant note of dissatisfaction.
In her speech the subject of a sentence often comes twice, as a noun and then again as a pronoun. Servants and noblewomen curtsy as she passes, and she ignores them all, her eyes fixed straight ahead.
