Lord Ingtar of House Shinowa is a Shienaran nobleman serving under Lord Agelmar at Fal Dara. He is short and dark, his head shaved except for the warrior's topknot, and he wears armor and a yellow cloak that displays his personal sigil, the Gray Owl on a yellow field, alongside the stooping black hawk of Shienar. His helmet carries a crescent moon crest, set so the points of the crescent turn upward. Like most Shienaran lords he is well educated in history, and he takes a bleak view of humanity's long odds against the Blight.
