Green Ajah
The Green Ajah calls itself the Battle Ajah, sisters of the White Tower who hold themselves ready for Tarmon Gai'don and who alone among Aes Sedai may bond more than one Warder.
The Green Ajah takes its place among the seven Ajahs described from the early books of The Wheel of Time, beginning in The Eye of the World. Greens name themselves the Battle Ajah: where the Red stands against the misuse of the One Power, the Green stands ready for the Last Battle, holding that when Tarmon Gai'don comes, the Ajah will ride to meet it. That purpose is old. In the Trolloc Wars, Green sisters fought the Dreadlords who commanded the Shadow's armies, and the songs of that age remember them. Alone among Aes Sedai, a Green may bond more than one Warder, and some keep four or five; more than a few marry one of them. Sisters of the Ajah tend toward boldness and flair, taking visible care with dress and appearance, and they are on the whole warmer toward men than any other Ajah. Their head bears the title Captain-General.
