Gaul
Gaul is a Stone Dog of the Imran sept of the Shaarad Aiel, first encountered caged in the town of Remen after being captured by a group of hunters of the horn led by Lord Orban.
Gaul speaks with an unruffled coolness and a calm sureness, and standing straight he is nearly a head taller than Perrin Aybara. He calls outsiders wetlanders, for all the water in their country. Rivers unnerve him, since his home, the Aiel Waste, holds very little water.
On meeting a stranger Gaul offers his water, and on parting he wishes that the other may always find water and shade. Across his shoulders he keeps a dark cloth that winds around his head and ends in a thick black veil, hiding everything but his eyes. He calls fighting dancing, and speaks of dancing the spears.
