A former Warder living wild among wolf packs, known to them as Long Tooth: bearded, clad in skins, and carrying the burnished gold eyes of a wolfbrother.
Elyas Machera is a man who lives in the wilderness with wolf packs he counts as close kin. He is a wolfbrother, and his wolf name is Long Tooth, after the long knife at his belt, nearly a shortsword's length. He stands five feet ten inches, with uncut graying brown hair tied back and hanging to his waist and a beard that fans across his chest, and he clothes himself in a patchwork of skins taken from animals he has killed. A faded scar marks his jaw. Like all wolfbrothers, his eyes look burnished gold to anyone who meets them. He was born in Tear to poor farmers, ran away to the Borderlands seeking adventure, served as a soldier in Shienar, and was bonded Warder to an Aes Sedai. He shuns people and avoids towns entirely, preferring company one at a time, though he is an honorable man who fights evil where he finds it.
