Elaida do Avriny a'Roihan

Elaida do Avriny a'Roihan is a Murandian sister of the Red Ajah. She holds the post of Aes Sedai advisor to Queen Morgase of Andor, a position of quiet weight in Caemlyn, and she is watched at court with as much fear as respect. Elaida is exacting and certain of her own judgment, severe in manner, and driven by an ambition she makes little effort to hide. Even among Aes Sedai she is accounted strong in the One Power, and her record as the quickest novice and Accepted of her era is still spoken of in the White Tower. Rarest of all, she possesses the Talent of Foretelling, the ability to speak of things yet to come, a gift that visits her erratically and that no other living sister is known to hold. Her pronouncements are taken seriously, and her displeasure is something even nobles take care to avoid.
