Cadsuane Melaidhrin
Cadsuane Melaidhrin was the most powerful Aes Sedai of the Green Ajah alive, a figure whose strength in the One Power alone set her apart from every sister of her age.
Cadsuane Melaidhrin wears her iron-gray hair gathered into a bun atop her head, hung with gold ornaments shaped like stars, moons, birds and fish that sway when she moves. She is a strikingly handsome woman in dark green divided skirts, and she sweeps into a room in a quick, graceful glide.
Her voice is dry, and she decides for herself whom she notices and when. No one plucks at her sleeve, and a single raised eyebrow from her is enough to quiet another Aes Sedai. Among Aes Sedai her name carries the weight of a legend, and she spends no more time in Tar Valon than she must.
