Blue Ajah

The Blue Ajah stands among the seven Ajahs of the White Tower presented from the early books of The Wheel of Time, beginning in The Eye of the World. Blues devote themselves to causes: justice pursued, wrongs set right, designs that can carry a sister across the world and across decades. The Ajah is one of the smallest, yet its reach is long. Blue eyes and ears, the informants every Ajah keeps, form the widest such network in the Tower, and in the last thousand years more Amyrlin Seats have been raised from the Blue than from any other Ajah. Sisters of the Blue have a name as schemers among their own kind, and an old, cold rivalry with the Red Ajah runs back a full millennium. Their head is known within the Ajah as the First Selector, a title outsiders rarely hear. A Blue, other sisters say, likes men well enough, so long as they serve her cause and stay out of her way.
