The Artifice of Brassion was a ter'angreal made early in the Breaking of the World by a group of Aes Sedai, most of them women, helped by a few men who had not yet lost themselves to the taint. It did one thing. It let a single sister gentle a man who could channel, with no circle and no other woman needed. It took its name from the man who argued it into existence, and it did not save him: he lost his grip sooner than anyone expected, killed several of the makers, and the Breaking went on without it.
