Arad Doman

Arad Doman lies at the edge of the map. It is a nation of the far northwest, running from the Mountains of Mist to the Aryth Ocean, and its capital, Bandar Eban, is a great gray port at the mouth of the River Dhagon under the sign of the Sword and Hand. Trade is the country's lifeblood and its politics alike. A king rules, but he is raised up and watched by the Council of Merchants, most of them women, and Domani merchants are matched nowhere in the world. The women of Arad Doman in particular are spoken of across every land, both for bargaining that strips a rival to the purse strings and for clinging gowns that scandalize matrons from Caemlyn to Tear. To the south, Arad Doman and Tarabon have contested the empty reaches of Almoth Plain for generations without either winning them.
