Alivia

Alivia is a channeler out of Seanchan who was made damane at thirteen or fourteen years old. She is 414 years old, among the oldest people living, and in many respects she has kept the personality of a teenager. She has blue eyes and golden yellow hair threaded with white, fine lines at the corners of her eyes, and a slow Seanchan drawl. Four centuries in the collar did not break her the way other damane are broken, and she carries an intense hatred of sul'dam and of the tyrannical culture that produced them. She is the most powerful woman born in the Third Age, and four hundred years of use as a living weapon have made her adept at destructive weaves. Toward those around her she is protective and almost maternal, reserved in manner, and curious about local customs and superstitions.
