Adeleas Namelle is an Aes Sedai of the Brown Ajah who lives in quiet retreat in a village on the grassy plains of Arafel, where villagers seek her advice and cures.
Adeleas Namelle is one of the sisters of the Brown Ajah, the society among the Aes Sedai that forsakes involvement with the mundane world and dedicates itself to seeking knowledge. In appearance she is almost a mirror image of Vandene, sharing her sister's face as well as her scholarly work.
