Flash Forward

Seeing ahead is rare in unOrdinary, and Flash Forward offers the shortest possible version of it. The ability shows its user one second of the future, and what it shows is the outcome of an action the user is considering, so the glimpse changes when the choice changes. That makes it a decision tool rather than a prophecy. A user who sees an unfavorable result can take a different course and avoid it, which in a fight means picking the option that does not end badly. Its limit is that some outcomes cannot be avoided at all, such as an attack too fast to dodge, where knowing what is coming does nothing to stop it.
