Whipper Kingdom

Magic makes and unmakes the Whipper Kingdom. For generations it is known as the home of the Western Continent's only Magic Tower, and its mages sit at the top of everything. That order is breaking: commoners squeezed by crushing taxes and used in mage experiments have risen against their rulers, and a non-mage faction now presses against the tower's power in open conflict. The kingdom lies in the continent's south, with Roan to its northeast, the Mogoru Empire close by, and a sea along its eastern side. At its southern end rises Mount Yellia, a peak snow capped the year round and ranked among the three most dangerous mountains on the continent. A king still reigns in name; where real power settles is the question of the hour.
