Molden Kingdom
The commercial heart of the East: a central kingdom of wide plains and wider toll roads that funnel the continent's trade through its markets.
Trade is the lifeblood of the Eastern Continent in Trash of the Count's Family, and the Molden Kingdom is the heart that pumps it. One of the strongest kingdoms in the East, it sits at the continent's center and has turned geography into wealth: vast open plains crossed by famously wide, well paved roads, built so that merchants have little practical choice but to use them, and tolled so that the crown profits every time they do. Lodging and commercial districts along the routes complete the arrangement, making Molden the center of the East's economy and distribution. A queen, Elisneh the First, rules it. The kingdom's one wild feature rises in its northeast, a mountain range not especially long but so steep it ranks first on the entire continent for climbing difficulty.
