Lock
A shy Blue Wolf Tribe boy whose unusually pure wolf blood marks him as a possible future Wolf King.
Lock is a shy, feeble seeming teenager with shaggy ash gray hair, taller than most boys his age. He is a boy of the Blue Wolf Tribe, a wolf clan whose home lies inside the Roan Kingdom, and the blood of the tribe runs purer in him than in anyone of his generation, which marks him as a candidate for the title of Wolf King one day. After an attack scatters his tribe, Lock reaches the Henituse lands among the surviving children and finds shelter there through Cale Henituse's arrangements. He is naive, easily flustered, and fiercely proud of where he comes from.
