Lock

Beast people are one of the quiet wonders of Trash of the Count's Family, and Lock is the first of them to stand close to its center. He is a boy of the Blue Wolf Tribe, a wolf clan whose home lies inside the Roan Kingdom, and the blood of the tribe runs purer in him than in anyone of his generation, which marks him as a candidate for the title of Wolf King one day. In person he does not look the part: a shy, feeble seeming teenager with shaggy ash gray hair, taller than most boys his age and nervous around strangers. After an attack scatters his tribe, Lock reaches the Henituse lands among the surviving children and finds shelter there through Cale Henituse's arrangements. He is naive, easily flustered, and fiercely proud of where he comes from.
