Kim Rok Soo, an ordinary South Korean office worker, falls asleep after reading a fantasy novel called The Birth of a Hero and wakes inside it, wearing the body of Cale Henituse, eldest son of Count Deruth of the Roan Kingdom's Henituse territory. The original Cale holds a well earned reputation as the trash of the count's family, a pale, red haired young noble known for drinking and picking fights. The new Cale has read where the book's story goes and wants no part of it. His plan is simple: keep the family name, secure a comfortable fortune, stay out of the plot's way, and live quietly. It is a plan that suits him very badly.
