Billos

Merchant blood runs strong, and Billos has more of it than his family cares to admit. He is the illegitimate son of the Flynn Merchant Guild's leader by a concubine, second in line to head the guild, and talented enough at trade that the leader's legitimate children resent him for it. Denied the use of the Flynn name, he removes himself to the remote Henituse territory and runs his business there, which places him, very conveniently, in Cale Henituse's home city. He is a heavyset man with narrow, squinting eyes and an unremarkable manner that hides a sharp commercial mind. Cale walks into his tea shop with a proposal, and Billos discovers that the count's trash son somehow knows his ambitions better than he has ever spoken them aloud.
