At thirty four meters the Valeria class blockade runner is a small warship, laid down at the Bush shipyards on Luna for the navy of the United Nations. The design was meant to carry troops and supplies and to escort larger hulls, built tough and fast so it could punch a hole through a defensive line during an assault on a station or a moon. Its Epstein drive turned out to suit longer work, running relief into theaters far from any fleet engagement, and the same qualities make it a favorite for smuggling. Armament is light, a small number of point defense guns, though refits add missile tubes, better sensors and electronic warfare gear.
