The inner-system arm of the United Nations Navy, sized and shaped around Mars.
Everything about the Home fleet follows from treating Mars as the threat that matters. It is the arm of the United Nations Navy that works the inner Sol system, and the United Nations keeps a large standing count of hulls in it for that reason, backed by long-range nuclear missiles based on the surface of Earth and by railgun platforms in orbit. Command sits on Luna, where Leonidas-class battleships dock at Lovell in numbers.
