Thoth Station

Thoth Station is a private research station. Built as a spin station in the Belt and owned by Protogen, an Earth-based corporation, Thoth appears on no public registries and advertises nothing about itself. Inside, it is nothing like the scraped-thin habitats Belters live in: wide carpeted corridors, tended ivy and bonsai under soft white light, and a research staff bigger and better credentialed than the universities of Earth or Luna. A hidden corporate laboratory of that scale is an anomaly in a Solar System where every scrap of air and water is accounted for, and the question of what Protogen is paying all those scientists to study sits at the center of the mystery.
