Saba

Saba is a Belter of a later age, a tall, broad man with an easy physical confidence, and a ship's captain by trade, which in his world is a description carrying real weight: the Belt's identity lives in its ships and the tight crews that run them, a working culture set against the gravity-well powers of Earth and Mars. The circumstances in which Saba lives, the people he stands beside, and the role he takes up are all part of the changed world of that later age, and his whole history belongs to it.
