Rini Glaudin is a Belter physicist and engineer. She took a doctorate in high-energy physics at Ceres Polytech, was radicalized at university, and went on to build bombs for the Voltaire Collective, which cost her a couple of decades in a United Nations prison. She came up through the Outer Planets Alliance, and she is the kind of engineer a crew calls its resident gearhead.
