Pallas
Pallas is one of the big stations of the Belt, a major rock that is home to over 150,000 people.
Pallas has refineries, and it was their metalworkers who rose in the Pallas colony revolt, which came four years after the massacre at Anderson Station, and threw the Coalition governor off the station. The Coalition ordered in its marines, and a bloodbath was widely expected. Instead, Colonel Fred Johnson talked the metalworkers down and persuaded the Coalition commanders to keep the marines back until the station was peacefully returned.
Johnson then spent over a year in negotiations with the governor to win better working conditions in the refineries.
