The LDSS Nauvoo is a generation ship under construction at Tycho Station in Leviathan Wakes. It is built to carry thousands of Mormon colonists out of the Sol system toward Tau Ceti on a voyage measured in generations, so that the people who step off at the far end are the descendants of the people who boarded. The hull is a cylinder a little over two kilometers long and half a kilometer across, large enough that four battleships could sit in its belly without touching the interior walls.
