Nadia is one of the seven partners in Captain Michio Pa's marriage group, who all keep their own surnames and make up the permanent crew of the Connaught.
Combat trained, Nadia is one of the two partners who first find Michio managing a warehouse on Rhea, and it is with her and Bertold that Michio falls in love. She is plain-spoken and affectionate, quick to tease Josep when his talk turns abstract, and she weighs in when the family has to decide whether to keep working with a man they no longer trust.
