Murphy-class light destroyer

Where most United Nations Navy hulls are built like bricks, the Murphy class light destroyer is an exercise in how many guns can be strapped to a small ship. It fires as much as it can as fast as it can, and flies out from under whatever comes back. From outside it reads as a UNN design, narrow at the top with two wide shoulders about midway down the hull, but the resemblance stops there. There is no thick armor, and two large Epstein drives sit at the stern. A standard crew is thirty two, and the ship can be run with as few as nine.
