Morgaina-class patrol destroyer

No ship comes off Martian lines in greater numbers than the Morgaina class patrol destroyer, which is also among the smallest military hulls anywhere. It came out of a fleet wide upgrade alongside the Donnager class battleship and the Corvette class light frigate, half torpedo boat and half light destroyer, cheap enough to build in quantity and good enough to hand a security detail. At nine meters across it is one of the sleekest things the Martian Congressional Republic Navy puts in the black, running a single Epstein drive, and it clamps into the hangar bays of Donnager class battleships from the ceiling. There is no central point defense cannon, so these ships travel in large numbers and cover one another's open sides.
