MCRN unidentified light cruiser class

Sleek and angular, this unnamed class of Martian light cruiser is shaped much like a battleship scaled down. Four nacelles at the stern each hold an Epstein drive, the same arrangement Martian battleships use. The bow carries the sensor, radar, lidar and communications arrays along with missile launchers fed from 40-round magazines, and total missile capacity runs into the hundreds. Nine point defense cannons are spread for overlapping fields of fire, four at the rear with one on each nacelle and five along the hull. There are Martian marine barracks aboard, a hangar bay on the ventral side, and a two-level combat information center amidships, laid out so the commanding officer can take in the whole of it at once. It serves as a missile cruiser, an attack cruiser and a command ship.
