The Stealth C is a platform rather than a ship: a first strike missile emplacement of the Martian Congressional Republic Navy, moved into position and left there. Each one carries ten Planetbuster missiles, and each missile is tipped with twenty nuclear warheads. Maneuvering thrusters and a drive unit let a platform shift station, and the crews move them on a schedule so that any fix taken on one goes stale. The hull is finished in Martian stealth material that leaves it invisible to nearly any ship, with sensor blinding systems backing that up. It is among the most advanced and most valuable things the Republic owns.
