A Belt-based crime syndicate with Ceres as its home ground and an Earth-side branch in Baltimore.
Ceres is home ground for Loca Greiga, also written Loca Griega, a crime syndicate out of the Belt. It moved in on the Aryan Flyers there and pushed them out of a string of rackets, and the Corporação do Gato Preto is suspected of being a front for it. The syndicate also runs an Earth-side branch in Baltimore, coordinated by people who answer to the Belt, and that operation has taken losses. Star Helix cracked down on its drug manufacturing houses and seventeen members died, including both surface coordinators. The five soldiers who answered by leaving a bomb at a Star Helix substation injured two officers and were all rounded up and arrested.
