Unlike Eros, L-Vegas is not cut into an asteroid. It is a spinning ring holding 0.4G, a little heavier than most Belt stations manage, parked at the Sun-Earth L4 Lagrange point and given over almost entirely to dining, shopping, gambling and the other pleasures its clientele travel for. The dice, its regulars insist, roll better in that gravity than they do back on Earth. The house is lavish in its decor, its food and the acts it books, though it keeps a sizeable economy trade too, in rooms that could pass for Ceres.
