Katria Mendez leads a cell of the Voltaire Collective on Medina Station, a group Saba calls bomb throwers from the old days, all hard angles under a voice as gentle as a favourite teacher's.
Her photo shows black hair, heavy facial piercings and angry eyes, and in person a steady anger smoulders in her gaze. She speaks with the careful diction Bobbie links to advanced schooling and almost no Belter accent, and she bristles when Saba sends outsiders from Mars and Earth to lecture Belters on fighting. When talk fails, a long knife appears in her hand.
