Josie is a Belter tech specialist on Filip's team in the raid on the Callisto shipyards, a craggy-faced man who pries open a locked supply shed and answers his boss in clipped Belter creole.
During the raid Josie helps cut the stolen canisters loose and strap them to the escape scaffold, trading rough jokes with the crew as they lift away. Naomi remembers him from her old militant days, and on Ceres, Cyn tells a tale of Josie setting up a toll on a station corridor and charging Earthers to walk it.
