Jannah
Jannah is a small, light-gravity planet in a system with a middle-aged star, four gas giants and a thin asteroid belt.
Jannah has the most changeable skies of the seven worlds one Belter technician has set foot on. Some days they are an indigo deep enough to show the brightest stars at midday, and on others a pale olive from one horizon to the other. The air smells of mint and toilet cleanser, and the Earthers living there say it smells nothing like Earth.
Beta, the second largest town on the planet, has a population of four hundred and thirty-six, and the bigger settlement of Alpha lies far to the south, seven and a half thousand kilometers away. Huge beasts that the settlers call monsters live beyond the town walls, and their howls rise after dark.
