Hector Cortez (Books)
Hector Cortez is a preacher whose weekly broadcasts as Father Hank draw an audience of more than a hundred million, and the spiritual adviser and close friend of the United Nations secretary-general.
Cortez greets Anna Volovodov at a reception aboard a battleship with a booming voice and a ready smile, then lets his eyes drift across the crowd in search of other company. He is tall and dark-skinned, with perfectly styled white hair and a spotless gray suit. When a wealthy guest teases him about the votes his audience can swing for his friend Esteban, his grin stays fixed while the air between them turns cold.
